Farewell Donna

How do you say goodbye to someone who have been once closed to you
but due to some uncontrollable circumstances you keep your distance from one another?

After what happened between you and R-Jay, we were not able to talk again. Others may not believe me but I treat you just like I treat my niece and nephews, you're not just a niece-in-law. I know that this comes late, you will not be able to read this anymore but I still prefer to do so, hoping that you might feel what I really wanted to say to you for a long time.
Everything that happened with you was so sudden and it's still not sinking in me. The last time I saw you were when I bought a sandwich from your cousin, and I thought you were doing great from the operation that you had. Then last night I received a message telling me of what happened.
I want to ask you, why did you let go girl? There's still much ahead of you. But I guess this is God's will, you have served your time and I must say you've done your best. Farewell Donna, be happy now. I will always remember you and you'll always be in my prayers. God wants you to be with Him now, have a nice trip to heaven where you belong...

Who Are You?

I am doing fine the whole day yesterday until late in the afternoon when somebody not in my phonebook sent me a sms. The first thing everyone might do is to ask the person who he/she was, right? So, I asked. From that simple question everything turned out bad. I'm really sorry if my words sounds bad to you, but you might want to think of what you have said to me too. The last words you said was "sadya bang bastos ka".
Why do I need to blog this? I'm not justifying myself and what I've said, and I already asks sorry anyway. I just want to say that before you start telling someone anything, get to know the person first. I give respect to those who deserve it. I speak and react only to what have been said and done, I'm not the nicest person one may know, but my parents taught me how to respect a person. I know at times I may be harsh and I admit that 'mataray ako' but being 'bastos' is just not me. I guess, you don't know me enough to ask me that...

A Different Saturday

After almost a year of Saturday classes at Cavite Computer Center (CCC),  I am able to finish five out of seven modules of my basic computer study, and yesterday was our recognition day, it was the 17th for the Center. It was held at the Capitol's Gymnasium at Trece Martirez City. We (me, my nephew and his cousin) arrived at the venue at around 12:30 p.m. Can you imagine how hot it is outside walking at that time of the day wearing a semi-formal dress? If you personally knew me you know I'm not used to wearing that kind of stuff, but I sure can if the situation calls for it. For everyone's peace of mind or shall I say sanity LOL, I'm wearing a white blouse (imagine that), a black pants and a black doll shoes. Sorry guys, but you have to picture this out in your mind since I'm not sure if I can provide a picture. Unintentionally, I forgot to recharge my digital camera yesterday! Sometimes, my stupidity really knocks on me.
While waiting for the guests, intermission numbers are presented, a student from CCC sings her own rendition of Celine Dion's That's The Way It Is; a performer (I forgot his name) with his comedy act and his version of Don't Cry Joni; and a very touchy performance by the choir of Children's Joy Foundation. Raffles are drawn in between, prizes were three pieces of 100 worth of cell cards each for smart, globe and sun subscribers, five Smart Plug-It and three brand new cellphones courtesy of Smart Telecom. Also, a free snack was served, ham and egg sandwich with juice for both the graduates and guests as well. Mind you guys, the gymnasium is air-conditioned and the temperature is good enough for me  (maybe a little cold for others).
The center must have put a lot of effort for this event considering also the budget, since we don't pay for anything, just our transportation fee and P20 for two pieces of ticket, which is not compulsory. Not bad, considering the effort of the staff to prepare everything.
At 3:00 p.m., the program starts when the guests led by Gov. Ayong Maliksi finally arrived. After the opening prayer, National Anthem and Cavite Hymn and inspirational talks from the guests, the commencement of 1000 students starts. Issuance of certificates and the raffle of three mobile phones sponsored by Smart closed the event at past 6 in the evening.

Cross-Posting Blog on Blogger and Multiply

With so many blogging websites available as well as social networking sites, many things are possible nowadays, and one of it is cross-posting or sharing your blog to your social networking account. All my blogs posted here were cross-posted in my multiply account as well. To make this possible, you need to have a Blogger and Multiply account of course. I really can't remember the steps the first time I did this since it was already a month ago, and after that procedure all blogs posted will be automatically cross-posted. I still did some editing in my multiply blog after it has been cross-posted since I'm using different font colors and styles in each blog, but all in all it has the same content.
For all those who want to try this, you should have an active Blogger, TypePad or Livejournal account, with at least a blog already posted in it. Sign in to your multiply account and go to blog, Click import blog and chose your blog server. Enter your username and password and allow cross-posting between sites. You will be asked which blog you wish to import to your multiply account. Click finished and you're way to go. Edit the blog as you wished. The next posts will automatically appear in your multiply blog, so you might want to check it for some editing as well. This might not be the exact procedure but I hope it could help.

Over An Ice Cream

Yesterday, after lighting a candle and saying a prayer for my grannies (my father's parents) and my uncle, my best girl friend and I decided to have an ice cream. We do this when we want to talk about anything and everything but most especially when we have problems to share with each other. Today, there are no problems to share, just a short girlfriend talk over an ice cream.
We go to 7-11 and grab our favorite Selecta's Berry Strawberry, proceed to plaza and find a place where we could comfortably sit, eat and talk.
We talk about guys, the new room she's renting in Alabang, her new work environment in Laguna, a boy friend we fondly called 'adik' (I prefer not to explain this hahaha), my ghost experiences in Olongapo and Taiwan, the most controversial topic: our single life and her uber hunky manager which according to her really smells good (when can I possibly smell him girl? you know it's my weakness lol).
And after a two and a half hour or more of chat and giggles with an almost empty ice cream, we decided to call the nights off and walk home. This was just one of our routines and bonding moments but every time we did this, spending a hundred bill or more for an ice cream or just anything we like to eat is definitely worth it.
